Like all political campaigns, Kinko's campaign included sleight of hand, tightrope acts, death-defying feats, slapstick comedy, and so much more. Kinko will not concede, stating that until every write-in ballot is counted, the election is not fair. Meanwhile, his campaign staff is focusing their attention and resources on 2012. In the fall of 2008 Bindlestiff begins a new program devoted to bringing the variety arts to seniors. Bindlestiff Family Cirkus received a Senior Center Cultural Initiative Grant through SM(ART)s: Seniors Meet the Arts, a new collaboration between the Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), the Department for the Aging (DFTA), and the New York City Council, which will bring together New York City cultural organizations and senior centers.
