Cavalcade of Youth is a program designed to assist youth in the development of performance skills, self confidence, and goal setting.

On January 14 and February 21, 2004, BFVA produced its first two Cavalcade of Youth shows. In March, 2005 the next two Cavalcade of Youth showcases were presented to sold out houses at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, New York City. Showcases featured more than twelve performers between the ages of five and twenty-one. Bindlestiff intends to create a more extensive Cavalcade of Youth program that would offer quarterly performances and regularly scheduled workshop situations. Thus, providing a framework for rehearsing and designing individual acts. BFVA provides an opportunity for a hands-on approach to theater and the entertainment industry.

Performing on a stage is a confidence builder. No matter what a child's future plans are, the practice, dedication, and of course enjoyment that are necessary to work in the variety arts are a positive influence in his or her life. A child?s self-esteem, work ethic, sense of possibility, and worldview can be profoundly affected by the experience of working to create an original live performance. The opportunity to work with professional artists will also allow children to realize that a career in the arts is a viable option for them.

The Cavalcade of Youth aims to have a long-term, lasting effect on the individuals involved. These are the future stars of Cirque du Soleil, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and television.
