Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and Playful Productions present a special showcase for young circus variety performers, ranging from absolute amateurs to world-class professionals. Juvenile jugglers, diminutive dancers, adolescent acrobats, and a host of other majorly talented minors present a full show of vernal vaudeville.
Circus and variety performers under age 21 (as of November 9, 2025) are invited to apply to participate in the November 9 Bindlestiff Cavalcade of Youth at Coney Island USA! Applications due by October 19, 2025
Aerialists, clowns, jugglers, magicians, musicians, breakers, acrobats, animal trainers, etc., this is your time to shine! Want to be a part of it, but don’t want to perform? Join the roustabout crew. There is no cost to participate, and all CavalKids share the proceeds from a hat pass. Solo, duo, and group acts are welcome. Showtime: 4pm; all required rehearsals take place earlier the same day.
SOLO ARTIST APPLICATIONS
To apply for the first time, please complete this NEW PARTICIPANT APPLICATION.
If you have participated in a previous Cavalcade, please do not use that form! Email me, and I will send you an individual link to update your information for the upcoming show.
GROUP ACT APPLICATIONS
Please have one member of the group (or a coach or parent) submit the ACT APPLICATION. If your act is accepted into the show, we will require registration forms (aka permission slips) for each member of the group, but you will not need to re-submit the act info.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 19, 2025.
We will notify you of your status by October 26, 2025.
We encourage CavalKids to apply for themselves, but if you’re under 18, you must have a legal guardian complete the last three questions.
